Wine & Spirits Label Design

Pate International

Pate International Design is a San Francisco studio that does branding and package design for the wine and spirits industries. I was a junior graphic designer on the label team, and it’s where packaging became my craft.

Where I learned packaging

The print industry, how a label comes to life on press, branding, and tactile design. On a shelf, the paper stock and the finish carry as much magic as the artwork.

A private label range for Helena Viñedo: red and white wine bottles and two jars, each with a gold dotted sunburst on black or cream labels.

Robert Mondavi Winery Cabernet Sauvignon: a dark bottle with a cream label showing the winery's arch and tower and a signature.
