Chrome, but soft
The letterforms are the whole piece. Fat, rounded, a little wonky, filled with a pale chrome gradient that shifts from cream to blue to yellow so every letter shimmers differently. Chrome type usually means hard reflections and sharp highlights. Making it soft gives it the feel of an airbrushed van mural, the exact feeling this poster chases.
Everything sits on a printed texture with a visible fold line and grain, because a poster about a place you visit should look like it has traveled folded in somebody's pocket.
Then the last line casts the spell: “Please come again” set in a ring around the alien, running upside down through the bottom half so you turn the poster to finish reading it. The farewell of a gift shop, extended to the entire universe.
